As one of the founding members of the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group (PICMG ®), we at Trenton have taken our reputation for developing the PICMG ® 1.0 standard for PCI passive backplane computers to new levels, adapting to the ever-changing technology and market needs. A recent example of this innovation and leadership is the role Trenton played in drafting the PICMG ® 1.3 specification. This specification allows edge-card computing customers to take advantage of the improved performance of the PCI Express™ interface while maintaining support for existing PCI, PCI-X and legacy ISA-based option cards. The PICMG ® 1.3 standard has been engineered into all of our latest products.
