Government & Defense – Airborne, naval and land-based applications often require some level of system customization.  From monitoring and analyzing data, voice and video feeds, to receiving and storing sensitive satellite, radar and telemetry data, Trenton understands the requirements of mission critical defense and government applications, and possesses the expertise to design custom solutions that provide superior performance and reliability in demanding environments.

Video Display Walls - From command & control centers to security & surveillance operations, emergency response teams and transportation management centers, the requirement to assimilate and manage multiple video feeds from disparate locations and display real-time imagery has never been greater.  Trenton has designed a full line of video wall controllers, utilizing Matrox Mura Series video controller cards, that are able to drive and manage up to 40 LCD panels.

Virtualization – Since migrating over to the x86 world in the 1990s, virtualization has increasingly been adopted for use in nearly every industry, from health care to video processing and energy management systems.  Utilizing each processor core to create a series of virtual machines, Trenton's multi-core, multi-processor single board computers can be combined with a custom designed multi-segment backplane to create an extremely powerful and flexible virtualization platform.

Video Processing – From medical imaging to video walls, military command and control centers and urban surveillance, video processing technology continues to find new applications.  Robust solutions comprised of multiple Matrox or NVIDIA graphics cards may benefit from using a custom Trenton PCI Express 2.0 backplane or require modifications to the system BIOS to achieve maximum rendering and display performance.
